POSITION OVERVIEW
The Global Atlantic Marketing team is seeking an experienced Field Trainer in our Des Moines, IA office to develop and facilitate life insurance sales and product-related training. This individual will have three major areas of focus: building strong understanding of the products and distribution channels to support the marketing and promotional activities; establishing relationships with distribution to identify opportunities for product expansion and training; developing and delivering training across the Global Atlantic Traditional Life business to increase knowledge of Global Atlantic’s life insurance products and solutions.

Key responsibilities include:
Creating and delivering engaging sales and product training, including train-the-trainer sessions, that is consistent with our life insurance marketing messages.
Establishing a regular on-site presence and relationships with Core Distribution Partners to understand their individual training needs
Partnering with Regional Vice Presidents in identifying and developing training opportunities and market development programs
Assist in life insurance promotional efforts and sales activities.
Working with marketing and internal sales support to ensure training content and messaging is consistent with key marketing messages and campaigns

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum five (5) years of related experience in the life insurance industry; internal wholesaling and sales support experience preferred
Excellent presentation skills a must; ability to tailor training to the audience
Industry designations such as CLU and/or ChFC preferred or current progress towards
Previous life insurance selling experience; Indexed Universal Life a plus
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Candidates will be required to present to a peer group prior to an offer being extended
Must be open to overnight travel, up to 50-70% can be expected
